Illustrative retail buying and display planning scene

Write down what one priced unit actually contains

A piece, a retail set, an inner display and a shipping carton are four different counts. A calendar is another complete selling format. Before comparing two wholesale prices, identify which count the price uses and which count the MOQ uses. If they differ, ask for a line-by-line reconciliation before estimating your order or shelf price.

Individual bag: use the wrapped measurement

STS348379 — Mini Maltose Ice Cube Squishy, 3.5 cm TPR Shell lists OPP packaging and 264 pieces per carton. Its toy is 3.5 × 3.5 × 3.5; its package-size field is 5 × 5 × 5. That difference matters when calculating party-bag capacity or fitting a small counter bin. Request a photograph of the exact retail wrap and the required labeling rather than assuming an unprinted bag is the final destination-ready pack.

The listed MOQ is one carton. At the recorded US$0.27–0.28 price per piece, the goods subtotal is US$71.28–73.92. Freight and import costs are additional. One individually packed toy is not a confirmed assortment ratio.

Counter display: distinguish inner displays from master cartons

STS349385 — Flour & Cheese Squeeze Toys, 12-Piece Counter Display is titled as a 12-piece counter display. The carton field lists 288 pieces, and the MOQ is three cartons / 864 pieces. Dividing 288 by 12 gives 24 display-sized groups, but that is a check to put to sales, not proof of the actual inner-case arrangement.

The package-size field is 26.3 × 20.5 × 10 and the carton-size field is 49 × 36 × 37. Neither should be relabeled as the assembled display footprint without confirmation. Ask whether the quoted pack is flat, assembled or requires an insert, and how the toys are counted and distributed inside it.

Three-piece set: reconcile the legacy pcs minimum

STS350818 — Decorated Dumpling Squishies, Three-Piece Flour-Filled Set describes a three-piece flour-filled dumpling set. The storefront selling unit is set, while the source MOQ reads five cartons / 720 pcs and the carton field reads 144 pcs/carton. These fields do not establish whether a counted piece is one loose dumpling or one complete three-piece set.

Ask for the number of complete retail sets per inner display and shipping carton. Until the unit basis is confirmed, do not multiply 720 by the set price or divide a listed set price by three as though either were an agreed quotation. Record the sales confirmation beside the SKU so the warehouse and retail listing use the same count.

Advent calendar: a complete gift format, not a loose-toy price

STS350987 — Mochi Squishy Advent Calendar, 24-Day Christmas Format is presented as a 24-day mochi advent calendar. Its storefront price is US$2.00 per calendar, and the source minimum reads 300 pcs. Request confirmation that the minimum counts complete calendars, then check the insert mix, outer dimensions, labeling and exact presentation.

Do not compare the full calendar price directly with the single-piece cube price. Also avoid treating a mathematical division by 24 as an available loose wholesale offer: sourcing a separate bag of inserts is a different request.

Copy this packing checklist into your inquiry

  • Exact SKU and version, including design or color choice.
  • Contents of one priced selling unit and the unit used for the MOQ.
  • Saleable units per inner display, displays per master carton and total units.
  • Wrapped dimensions, assembled display footprint and master-carton dimensions.
  • Assembly, insert or labeling requirements and clear pack photographs.
  • Whether cross-SKU mixing is permitted, with the approved count for each line.
